George 111 Painted Mahogany chest on chest with two short over three long graduated drawers in the top section with cantered corners, over three long graduated drawers with possibly replaced highly decorative brass handles and escutcheons. All locks in working order with key, and indication of care and love. A very attractive piece of furniture with double the storage space of a chest of drawers and covering the same floor area.
You probably notice the shine on the top half of the chest, where the wax has been buffed. The bottom half has been left mat - for you to choose what finish you prefer.
